The Ambient and temperature controlled industrial parcel transportation company Integra2 recently held its annual convention in Madrid, where it demonstrated its commitment to mobile technology by introducing shipment tracking applications for smart phones.
At the Integra2 annual convention, a specialised transport service for specific sectors (among them the pharmaceutical and food sectors) was set out as one of the key strategies. Integra2’s commitment to quality in their pharmaceutical and food transport services has meant that 44.5% of the activity carried out has been done so under controlled temperature. Deliveries requiring a high degree of know-how that is complemented by thorough follow-up and incident management for the goods and a continued commitment to improving track and trace technology.
In addition, Integra2 doubled their international business during 2011, together with an essential contribution by their partner in Girona Cronofrío and their brand Masterfrío. In 2012, Integra2 intends to maintain their commitment to internationalisation and also to the development of their ecommerce business, involving temperature controlled home deliveries for the gourmet food industry. The service includes the automatic sending of an SMS and/or e-mail upon documentation of the shipment in order to inform the addressee that their shipment is on route and that arrangements will be made for delivery.
