Integra2 obtain the Authorised Economic Operator certificate

Integra2 obtain the most comprehensive of the 3 certificates granted by the Official Spanish Tax Administration Agency (AEAT), which are added to their cool chain certification under the CCQI standard (Cool Chain Quality Indicator) and ISO 9001 quality management system certification for the whole network, reaffirming the company’s permanent commitment to demonstrable operation excellence for the benefit of their clients.

Integra2, the ambient and temperature controlled industrial parcel transportation company, have obtained the combined Authorised Economic Operator/Customs Simplification and Security and Safety Certificate (AEOF), which certifies Integra2 as a trusted economic operator for customs operations, along with the rest of the members of the logistics chain in the whole of the EU and, through mutual recognition, in a great part of the world.
The AEOF certificate provides significant operational advantages to Integra2, their clients and customs administration.  Integra2 will have greater facility with regard to customs procedures, optimising flows and transit times for their clients’ international operations.  This fact is particularly relevant when it comes to Integra2’s international activity in Spain, Portugal and Andorra.

With this certification, Integra2 will enjoy priority treatment at customs controls, greater facility in benefiting from simplified customs procedures, entry and exit summary declarations with reduced data requirements or prior notice of a physical recognition decision, easier access to customs, international recognition in their commercial relations, and a lesser number of physical and documentary checks.

This certificate is the most comprehensive of the 3 in existence.  In Spain, it is granted by the AEAT after an audit to check whether the company has a satisfactory history of compliance with customs requirements, an adequate system of commercial risk management and transport records for customs control, accredited financial solvency and appropriate levels of security, as well as adequate administrative management and a level of solvency that guarantees satisfactory fiscal compliance.

The figure of Authorised Economic Operator has been developed by the European Commission as one of the mechanisms in order that customs carry out their important role in the matter of the international logistics chain’s safety and security, for the benefit of legitimate trade in the area of consumer protection, the environment or the fight against organised crime.

This certificate, together with those already obtained by Logista and Logesta, the company belonging to Grupo Logista (The Logista Group of Companies) specialised in the management of long distance transport and full truck loads, allows Grupo Logista to complete the customs guarantees and facilities available for the full range of integrated logistics services offered by the Group on an international scale to its multinational clients.
